Goals:

 

To enhance knowledge about patient safety, competencies, and the skill sets needed to equip information professionals to successfully participate in patient safety initiatives within the health care setting and in their communities.

 

Objectives:                          

  • provide an overview, including relevant issues and the patient safety culture
  • assist in the identification of relevant patient safety initiatives & potential partnerships in the community
  • examine the various roles information professionals play in patient safety
  • provide current resources for additional learning about patient safety

 

Intended Audience:           - Health sciences information professionals

- Public librarians

- Special librarians

- Allied health professionals

 

Cost:                          NAHLA Members* & CPSI Staff     $15.00
